2021 WATL FALL REGIONAL
Below is important information for you all regarding the weekend of November 12-14.
WATL CIRCUIT POINTS WILL BE DOUBLED!!
Location, Parking and General information:
1302 Frederick Ave St Joseph, Mo 64501.
Our front door is located on the south side of the building (around back and in the alley).
Parking is free around our building. There is a parking area just east of our location that is the best spot, extra parking is at the corner of 13th and Buchanan Ave, which is just south of our location.
Please try not/do not park at the River Bluff Brewery next door, they are still open to the public for the weekend and if we take up all their parking it makes for a bad weekend for them, we appreciate your help in this! Thank you!
We are a Non-Alcoholic facility. We are located next to a local brewery that is awesome. There are also several other bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.
We also allow outside food and drink to be brought in but we have several options of water/energy drinks/Gatorades and some snacks available.
Several food truck/ vendors will be onsite through the weekend for your eating pleasure!
No smoking of any kind is allowed in the facility. Receptacles will be available outside for smoking items.

Judges and Volunteers:
For this event specifically we have certified 7 Judges to be at the facility at various times so each lane should have a certified judge and a backup score keeper. The head judges for this event are tentatively Bruce Baker and Mike Yuille. Both of the head judges will be on site for the entire event so if there is a second opinion needed one of these two judges should be sought out for the opinion.
Players and spectators are not allowed to be the second opinion.
We do appreciate any volunteer help and you can reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org we really appreciate any help!
Seeding and Tournament rules:
The tournament is a WATL sanction tournament and will follow all WATL rules and guidelines.
Our event has chosen to do random seeding. At registration your WATL profile will be looked up and added to the tournament to ensure it is registered correctly and circuit points are awarded to the correct account.
Fault lines are painted on every lane at 12 feet-16 feet for standard/duals and 15 feet-17 feet for big axe. The rule at our facility, is you CAN step ON the paint but you fault when you step over the paint.
Per WATL rules and normal tournament play each participant will receive 5 warm up throws at the start of their first match, one practice throw between matches and 1 practice throw before the start of the next match. For efficiency of the tournament this will be followed on all lanes. We are expecting 128 throwers to sign up for the standard tournament so making sure we move through the matches quickly is the priority. Thank you for your understanding.
Masks are NOT required by any local or state government and so no one will be required to wear them but if you feel more comfortable wearing one please do so.
